Lead better.
Decide what is next.

When the stakes are high, you need more than advice. You need a trusted thinking partner: someone who listens, challenges your assumptions, brings structure to complexity, and helps you decide what to do next.

That’s exactly who I am.

For Companies & Executives

You lead.
I think alongside you.

That's exactly who I am.

I offer 1:1 coaching for executives: confidential and on equal footing.

Leadership is demanding. Responsibility, expectations, decisions – often without anyone to truly speak openly with. That’s exactly where I come in.

These are typical situations we work on together:

  • Transitioning into a new leadership role: building trust, establishing credibility, and leading with confidence.
  • Successfully navigating the first 100 days in a new position
  • Structuring difficult decisions and making them with clarity
  • Leading through crisis: restructuring, uncertainty, change
  • Managing difficult situations with employees
  • Developing your leadership presence and impact
  • Preparing for and confidently taking the next career step

On request, I also offer tailored group trainings, for example for new leaders in their first 100 days. Half-day or full-day, 6–12 participants, adapted to your situation.

For Individuals

You know there is more to it...

Let's find out what.

Not every career question begins with a crisis. Sometimes it starts with a quieter thought: Is this still the right place for me?

The role may look good on paper, but no longer gives you energy. Your environment may have changed. Your ambitions may have moved on. Or you may be dealing with an unexpected ending and need to decide what to make of it.

Together, we sort through the noise, identify what is really driving the question, and shape a next move that makes sense for you — not just for your CV.

Career direction

There is no single “right” career path. There are choices that fit who you are now, what you are good at, and how you want to work.

We will look honestly at where you are, what is no longer working, and which next move is both credible and worth making.

Recognizing transferable strengths

What you already bring

You may be closer to your next move than you think.

Many key capabilities are easy to overlook, because they feel natural: how you handle complexity, influence others, get things done, or stay calm under pressure. I help make these strengths visible and connect them to opportunities beyond your current role or industry.

Application documents

You’ll receive professional input for your CV and cover letter – clear, compelling, and to the point.

Interview preparation

An interview is not just about having polished answers. It is about being able to explain your experience clearly, handle difficult questions, and make a convincing case for the contribution you can make.

We prepare for the conversations that matter: sharpen your story, test likely questions, and practice how you want to show up in the room.

A sparring partner by your side

Some decisions need more than quick advice. They need space, challenge, and a person who can help you see the situation from a different angle.

I listen closely, speak plainly, and help you turn reflection into clear choices and practical action.

About Me

I'm Uta –

and I know both sides.

For almost two decades, I have held senior leadership roles in international manufacturing companies, including as Managing Director of organisations with up to 6,000 employees. I know the realities behind that level of responsibility: decisions that affect many people, competing expectations, and the moments when there is no obvious answer — or obvious person to turn to.

I also know the other side of a career: questioning whether to stay, move on, or take a different direction altogether. Having made several career transitions myself, I understand that change can be unsettling. It can also open up possibilities that were hard to see from inside the old role.

My work and life have taken me to North America, across Europe, to North and South Africa, and to New Zealand. Working and living in different markets and cultures has taught me to look beyond the first explanation, listen for what is not being said, and recognize that there is rarely only one way to approach a challenge. That is the perspective I bring to every conversation: experienced, open-minded, direct, and grounded in the realities of working life.

How I work

The solution is already within you

The answer is not always obvious at the outset. My role is to create the space to think clearly, ask the questions that move the conversation forward, and help turn insight into decisions and action.

My experience is available to you when you specifically ask for it. Otherwise, I stay in the role of your coach, supporting you in finding your own answers and decisions.

Confidentiality is a given.

We agree the right scope and rhythm at the start. Some clients come with one concrete decision or transition to work through. Others benefit from a longer-term sparring partnership alongside a demanding role or a period of change.

Sessions are available online or in person, in German or English.

What others say

"During a period of organizational change, Uta was a sparring partner who met me at eye level. She helped me better understand the dynamics behind the situation and see more clearly what my next steps should be. As a result, I was able to act with more confidence and strategic clarity."

— Natalija E., Department Head

"After parental leave and the part-time period that followed, I felt like I had worked myself into a professional dead end. After talking with Uta, I regained clarity and was able to set concrete goals for my career development again, which I'm now pursuing with a reassuring sense of determination."
